Riana has 15 years' experience working in both clinical and organisational areas of psychology. She has worked mainly with adults in the areas of occupational rehabilitation, counselling and EAP, defence force and emergency services, ex-military, as well as within the corporate and government sectors. Riana enjoys working with clients who present with issues involving stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family issues, disabilities, injuries, and other life transitions. She uses therapeutic approaches ranging from CBT, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focussed therapy, ACT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and is more recently developing skills in the somatic approaches. Riana enjoys supervising and mentoring other psychologists to find their own niche and personal style while upholding their ethical responsibilities of the psychology profession. Riana has a personalised approach to supervision understanding that no two psychologists are the same, and that we all come from our own backgrounds which influences the way we practice.
